Second biannual international coaching conference 2013

Following the success of the first CRiC conference, the event returned to the Wychwood Park Hotel with attendees now representing academic and interested parties from Europe and the USA, as well as policy groups. Prizes were awarded for the most impactful poster as well as the best early career researcher presentation. The conference, now with over a hundred attendees, saw papers presented in a range of sports coaching subject areas including the effect of video and the nature of digital gaze, the impact of the high-level coach education programmes on professional practice, and the application of micro sociological theory on the study of football coaches and the element of care.
