8th CRiC International Coaching Conference

Following the success of the 7th CRiC International Coaching Conference held in Oslo, we’re excited to announce that the 8th edition will take place at the University of Stirling, Scotland, from 8th–12th June 2026.
The Oslo conference, hosted by the Norwegian School of Sport Science, brought together a diverse and international group of scholars, coaches, and practitioners for a stimulating week of dialogue, debate, and collaboration. With over 65 presentations, powerful keynotes, and memorable social events it was a week that reflected the energy and critical spirit of the CRiC community.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Stirling conference will continue to build on this momentum. Hosted in Scotland for the first time, and set on the beautiful Stirling campus in the heart of the country, the conference will explore the theme: "Echoes of Entanglement: Whose Stories Shape our Understanding of Sports Coaching?"
As ever, the event will bring together those interested in critical research into coaching, with a shared commitment to looking beneath the surface of practice, questioning common narratives, and exploring the stories that shape how coaching is understood and experienced. We hope you can join us!
