Hosted by the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester, the 5th International CRiC conference took place over two days. Yet again, the conference attracted delegates from a broad range of disciplines including pedagogy, sociology, history, and sports law to create an exciting cross-disciplinary programme. This vibrant inter-collegiate atmosphere and collaborative enterprise was enhanced by the attendance of leading UK and international scholars from countries such as the USA, Canada and Europe. Keynote Speakers included Dr Brian Gearity (University of Denver), Dr Justine Allen (University of Stirling), Dr Diane Culver (University of Ottawa) and Professor John Lyle (Leeds Beckett University).
The CRiC conference was a friendly event and a significant opportunity to catch up with old acquaintances and colleagues as well as cultivating new ones.
