Why Join?

Joining CRiC allows coaches, researchers, and students of coaching to become part of a larger community passionate about cutting-edge, research-informed coaching practice.

Become part of the CRiC community

More specifically, CRiC provides opportunities for members to become a part of (1) the leadership board and committees, (2) lead and attend respective conferences, workshops, and (3) become part of the review team for Sports Coaching Review. The intention is to not only support and build upon the study and practice of coaching world-wide, but to establish CRiC as central to building a sustainable and diverse community of practitioners, researchers and educators.

Professional development

Through a continuous social media feed, members of CRiC will be informed of the latest research, professional development opportunities and CRiC related events, while early-career researchers can join a bespoke network. In doing so, CRiC intends to foster an environment whereby research and ideas are shared, while engendering critical debate within the discipline. Additionally, members of CRiC will have priority access to articles published in Sports Coaching Review.

Connect with other members

Finally, CRiC aims to give members access to a network of sport coaching professionals across the world interested in the development of the discipline. We host a bi-annual conference, alongside a variety of workshops and webinars.
